Adopt Change exists to create a world where all children grow, learn, play and thrive in a safe, nurturing and stable environment and supports and educates families and communities in caring for displaced children.
Adopt Change began in 2008 with the first National Adoption Awareness Week (NAAW) and the aim of shining a light upon the critical issues and systemic challenges facing vulnerable children in Australia. For more information visit: www.adoptchange.org.au
National Adoption Awareness Month (NAAM)
The month of November is dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of permanency for children, including ensuring adoption is one of the options available to children on the permanency continuum. The month is also an opportunity to provide education and national conversations about trauma support needs for children and their families.
